Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Minister of Investments, Industry, and Trade of Uzbekistan Laziz Kudratov participated in a roundtable with leading US companies, conducted via videoconference.

The event was organized in collaboration with the Business Council for International Understanding (BCIU) and the Embassy of the Republic of Uzbekistan in Washington.

During the meeting, discussions focused on the further expansion of mutually beneficial cooperation, including the prospects for joint investment projects in sectors such as food and pharmaceutical production, transportation and logistics, and IT technologies.

New opportunities for increasing bilateral trade turnover between Uzbekistan and the USA were also addressed.

At the conclusion of the roundtable, Laziz Kudratov encouraged representatives of American companies to visit Uzbekistan for a more detailed exploration of the discussed initiatives.
