Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — On 13 February 2025, Advisor to the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan Munira Aminova met with the UN Resident Coordinator in Uzbekistan, Sabine Mahl.

During the meeting, the parties discussed key aspects of the multifaceted cooperation between Uzbekistan and the United Nations, highlighting the unprecedented progress achieved in recent years.

Sabine Mahl reaffirmed the UN system’s continued support for the implementation of Uzbekistan’s National Sustainable Development Goals and the reform agenda under the Uzbekistan-2030 Strategy.

Particular emphasis was placed on aligning efforts to develop the new UN Sustainable Development Cooperation Framework for 2026–2030 and advancing joint initiatives aimed at fostering social progress in the country.
