Uzbekistan and the UAE agreed to significantly increase the frequency of flights

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- As part of the ICAO ICAN-2023 conference, an agreement was reached between Uzbekistan and the United Arab Emirates (UAE) to increase the frequency of flights. The Ministry of Transport of Uzbekistan said this in a statement.

During negotiations between the aviation authorities of the two countries, an agreement was signed to expand the geography and frequency of air flights.

According to this agreement, in addition to the airports of Tashkent and Samarkand, flights will be operated from all international airports of Uzbekistan to Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Sharjah, Ras al-Khaimah and Fujairah.

Airlines of both countries can now operate 41 flights per week on routes such as Tashkent - Abu Dhabi, Samarkand - Abu Dhabi, Urgench - Abu Dhabi, Bukhara - Abu Dhabi, Namangan - Abu Dhabi, Ferghana - Abu Dhabi , Karshi - Abu Dhabi, Termez - Abu Dhabi and Nukus - Abu Dhabi.

The airlines can also operate 35 flights per week to destinations such as Tashkent - Dubai, Samarkand - Dubai, Namangan - Dubai, Bukhara - Dubai, Navoi - Dubai, Ferghana - Dubai and Nukus - Dubai. In addition, 23 flights per week can be operated on routes such as Tashkent - Sharjah, Namangan - Sharjah, Samarkand - Sharjah, Ferghana - Sharjah, Karshi - Sharjah and Termez - Sharjah.

Flights on the routes Tashkent - Ras al-Khaimah and Samarkand - Ras al-Khaimah will be operated 6 times a week.

On the Tashkent – Fujairah route, airlines can operate 3 flights per week.

This agreement contributes to the development of tourism between the two countries and the expansion of ties between Uzbekistan and the UAE.
