Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 5 March, the Minister of Investment, Industry and Trade of the Republic of Uzbekistan Laziz Kudratov received a delegation led by the head of the Regional Office of the Islamic Development Bank Ibrahim Shukri.

During the meeting, the progress in the implementation of the current portfolio of joint projects was discussed, the issues that arose during the implementation process were discussed in detail, and specific measures were developed to quickly eliminate them.

Taking into account the high level of trust of the Islamic Development Bank in Uzbekistan, a number of promising areas of cooperation in priority sectors of the economy were considered.

Currently, together with the Islamic Development Bank, 8 projects are being implemented with a total value of US$1.2 billion, in addition, 4 promising projects are being developed with a total value of US$434 million.
