Uzbekistan and Tatarstan Chambers of Commerce agree on measures to strengthen
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — On 17 April 2025, Deputy Chairman of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Uzbekistan Dilshod Rasulov met with Chairman of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Republic of Tatarstan Shamil Ageev.
The meeting was also attended by Vladimir Strashko, Director General of Russia’s largest multi-profile business center—the International Trade Center—as well as the Chairman of the Supervisory Board of the center and Aydar Akhtaryov, Trade Representative of Tatarstan in Uzbekistan.
During the talks, the parties discussed the further expansion of trade and economic ties between Uzbekistan and Russia, with a particular focus on cooperation with Tatarstan.
They also addressed the participation of the Uzbekistan Chamber of Commerce and local business representatives in the 16th International Economic Forum “Russia – Islamic World: KAZANFORUM,” scheduled to take place in Kazan from May 13 to 18, 2025.
Following the meeting, both sides agreed to take joint measures to ensure the active involvement of Uzbek entrepreneurs in the forum and reached a consensus on further strengthening cooperation with the Tatarstan Chamber of Commerce and the International Trade Center.
