Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — On 31 July 2025, the Minister of Investments, Industry and Trade of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Laziz Kudratov, met with Murad Ali, head of the Qatari company Tamam International.

Tamam International, one of Qatar’s leading investment companies, is implementing large-scale projects in the fields of energy, transport and logistics, tourism, and healthcare. The company is actively involved in transnational initiatives and has shown interest in expanding its presence in Central Asia.

During the talks, the parties discussed prospects for cooperation in key areas, including the development of electricity production and distribution systems, modernization of logistics infrastructure, as well as the establishment of tourist complexes and modern medical facilities.

Following the meeting, both sides confirmed their commitment to strengthening mutually beneficial partnership. At the initiative of the Minister, it was decided to establish a joint working group with the participation of Tamam International representatives and relevant Uzbek agencies to systematically advance these initiatives.
