Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — On 4 November, in Seoul, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan, Bakhtiyor Saidov, met with the Foreign Minister of South Korea, Cho Tae-yul.
During the meeting, both sides emphasized the importance of the summit held in Tashkent in June of this year, which featured the participation of both countries’ presidents and served as a catalyst for deepening cooperation in various fields.
Particular focus was placed on implementing agreements signed between the two nations. Both parties expressed interest in developing new comprehensive projects, particularly in the economic sphere, to strengthen trade and investment ties.
The meeting also covered cooperation in high technology, innovation economy, green energy, and smart agriculture. Uzbekistan and South Korea see substantial potential for experience sharing and joint projects in these areas.
The foreign ministers discussed collaborative actions at the regional and international levels. They stressed the importance of policy coordination within international organizations such as the UN and the SCO.
