Uzbekistan and Sojitz Corporation discuss healthcare cooperation
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Deputy Ministers of Economy and Finance of Uzbekistan, Ilhom Umrzakov and Otabek Fazilkarimov, held negotiations with representatives of Japan’s Sojitz Corporation.
The foreign delegation included Bahrom Salomov, Head of Sojitz’s Tashkent office, Muneuki Nishida, Assistant Manager for Healthcare Business Development, and other company representatives.
The meeting focused on the implementation of a project to build multi-profile hospitals under a public-private partnership (PPP) framework. The sides also discussed prospects for joint training programs to enhance the qualifications of medical personnel.
This project is expected to make a significant contribution to the development of Uzbekistan’s healthcare system, improving the quality of medical services and specialist training.
At the end of the negotiations, both parties reaffirmed their commitment to continued cooperation and support for joint initiatives.
