Uzbekistan and Slovenia Strengthen Partnership in Industry and Investment
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Uzbekistan’s Minister of Investments, Industry and Trade, Laziz Kudratov, paid a working visit to Slovenia, where he held a series of productive meetings and events aimed at deepening bilateral economic cooperation.
During the visit, the Minister held talks with Slovenia’s Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign and European Affairs, Tanja Fajon, as well as the Minister of Economy, Tourism and Sport, Matjaž Han. The meetings reaffirmed both countries’ mutual interest in building a pragmatic and results-oriented partnership.
A key event of the visit was a business roundtable hosted by SPIRIT Slovenia, bringing together business representatives from both nations. The roundtable featured a presentation on Uzbekistan’s investment and export potential, along with several specific investment projects proposed for joint implementation.
Special focus was given to G2B meetings with leading Slovenian companies. These talks explored opportunities for cooperation in key areas such as industrial production, renewable energy, agricultural processing, and innovative technologies.
The readiness of both sides for open and constructive dialogue laid the groundwork for concrete steps to implement high-level agreements reached earlier and outlined new directions for collaboration in trade, investment, and industrial partnership.
