Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- A meeting was held at the Ministry of Employment and Poverty Reduction of Uzbekistan with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Slovakia to Uzbekistan Viktor Boretsky.
During the meeting, the increase in demand for labor resources as a result of demographic changes in the EU countries was discussed. In this regard, many citizens of Uzbekistan temporarily work in developed Western countries, especially in Slovakia, holding positions in large industries and transport services.
The main attention at the meeting was paid to the comprehensive protection of citizens of Uzbekistan traveling to Slovakia for temporary work. Measures were discussed to streamline the process of obtaining visas and interviews, as well as sending workers to the field.
In addition, the parties discussed a number of existing issues and their possible solutions in order to improve working conditions and ensure convenience for both parties.
