Uzbekistan and Slovakia discuss cooperation in labor migration
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — On 12 February 2025, Uzbekistan’s Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, Olimjon Abdullaev, met with Slovakia’s Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary, Viktor Borecký.
During the meeting, the parties discussed key issues related to organizing labor migration of Uzbek citizens to Slovakia, as well as developing and strengthening the legal framework in this area. Special attention was given to attracting Slovak specialists to assist in training highly qualified personnel from Uzbekistan.
Both sides reaffirmed their commitment to further developing bilateral cooperation aimed at improving labor migration conditions and workforce training, contributing to the strengthening of relations between the two countries.
