Uzbekistan and Singapore Sign Legal Cooperation Program for 2025–2026
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — During a visit led by Uzbekistan’s Deputy Minister of Justice Sh. Rabiev to Singapore, negotiations were held with representatives of the Singapore Ministry of Justice. Both sides highly appreciated the results of cooperation under the 2021 Memorandum of Understanding and discussed ways to further strengthen collaboration.
The 2025–2026 cooperation program covers retraining and professional development of legal personnel, resolution of international commercial disputes, exchange of experience under the Singapore Mediation Convention, legal protection in international disputes, as well as sharing best practices in the rule of law and cooperation between the Singapore Legal Aid Bureau and the Uzbek NGO “Madad.”
The implementation of the program is expected to elevate legal cooperation between the two countries to a new level.
