Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Uzbekistan’s Ambassador Nodirjon Turgunov met with Mohammad Al-Sulami, the Director of the International Institute for Iranian Studies "Rasanah," according to the Dunyo news agency.
During the meeting, the parties discussed establishing cooperation between the institute and Uzbekistan’s scientific and analytical centers, as well as signing bilateral agreements.
The Saudi side highly praised the rational policies of Uzbekistan’s President and the effective results of the wide-reaching reforms aimed primarily at public interests.
Al-Sulami expressed admiration for Uzbekistan’s rich and ancient history, the heritage of globally renowned ancestors of the Uzbek people, and the culture and traditions of the country. He shared that he has created a "Corner of Uzbekistan" in his home.
It was noted during the meeting that the institute has signed memorandums of cooperation with the Institute for Strategic and Interregional Studies under the President of Uzbekistan and the Tashkent State University of Oriental Studies.
As a result of the discussions, both sides agreed to establish continuous communication between the institute and Uzbekistan’s scientific and analytical centers to further develop collaboration and identify promising areas of cooperation.
