Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.uz) — A delegation from Uzbekistan paid a working visit to the Samara region, where Governor Vyacheslav Fedorishchev met with Deputy Minister of Investments, Industry, and Trade Khurram Teshabayev and Deputy Minister of Agriculture Kakhramon Yuldashev to discuss expanding cooperation in key sectors, including agro-industrial development and emerging economic industries.
Governor Fedorishchev emphasized that the bilateral partnership is built on strategic cooperation and strong neighborly ties between the leaders of Uzbekistan and Russia.
During the visit, the Uzbek delegation toured major enterprises in the region. In Tolyatti, they explored the manufacturing capabilities of Pegas-Agro and Elektroshield-TM Samara. Additionally, they examined the investment potential of the Tolyatti Special Economic Zone (SEZ) and its resident companies.
The delegation also visited the Zhigulevskaya Valley Technopark, where they were introduced to the region’s innovation ecosystem. Special attention was given to the Regional Engineering Center (REC), one of Russia’s top three competence centers.
