Within the Cannes Film Festival, the delegation of Uzbekistan signed a Memorandum of Cooperation with the Russian film company “Renovatsio”.

According to the memorandum, filmmakers from Russia together with their Uzbek colleagues will begin filming “Hodja Nasreddin”, in 2018 in Uzbekistan.

Producer of “Renovatsio” Georgy Malkov said the Russian filmmakers specially invited the famous French actor Jean Reno to participate in filming this project. Jean Reno accepted this invitation.

Half of creative and technical group will consist of Uzbek specialists in “Hodja Nasreddin” project.
