Uzbekistan and Russia discuss issues of state control in the field of railway transport

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 17 November 2023, a working meeting between representatives of Rostransnadzor and the delegation of the Republic of Uzbekistan took place at the site of the Likhobor division of the Moscow Training Center for Professional Qualifications.

The head of the department of state railway supervision, Evgeny Yudin, together with the head of the Inspectorate for Supervision in the Field of Transport under the Ministry of Transport of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Jamshid Karimov, discussed issues of state control in the field of railway transport.

The discussion was also attended by the deputy head of the Legal Department of Rostransnadzor, Irina Vakhterova, the deputy head of the MTU of Rostransnadzor for the Central Federal District, Andrey Tolstenev, and the head of the regional department of control in railway transport of the city of Tashkent for the organization of transportation, Azam Abdurakhmanov.

During the discussion, Evgeny Yudin presented Gosjeldornadzor’s approaches to the risk assessment system, the procedure for classifying objects of state control into risk categories, and identifying indicators of the risk of violation of mandatory requirements. He also spoke about the planning and implementation of control and preventive measures.

Evgeny Yudin emphasized the importance of creating incentives for conscientious behavior of controlled persons within the framework of state control.

At the end of the event, the parties noted the relevance of the meeting and agreed on further cooperation in the field of exchange of experience in state control in the field of railway transport.

The head of the Likhoborsky division of the training center of the Moscow Railway of Russian Railways introduced the delegation to a modern and high-tech training complex - the Ivolga driver’s cabin, designed for training future electric train drivers.

The meeting participants were given the opportunity to practice their electric train driving skills on an interactive simulator.
