Uzbekistan and Russia agreed to increase the number of flights

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The Ministries of Transport of Uzbekistan and Russia agreed to increase the number of flights operated between the countries. This was reported by the press service of the Russian Ministry of Transport.

The department noted that this will have a positive impact on the development of cooperation between the two countries and will help meet the demand of air passengers for transportation.

The number of flights flying from Tashkent to Moscow and back will increase from 39 to 50 per week.

They will also double (from 7 to 14) the number of flights between Tashkent and St. Petersburg. There will be flights from Bukhara to Moscow up to 14 times a week.

Up to 14 flights per week will be carried out on the routes Urgench - Moscow and Tashkent - Krasnoyarsk.

The ministries of Russia and Uzbekistan also agreed on the distribution of flights between airlines.

Thus, Uzbekistan Airways will fly from Tashkent to the Russian capital 32 times a week, and Qanot Sharq - four. Uzbek My Freighter (Centrum Air) will operate six flights to Moscow per week, and Panorama Airways - three.

On the Tashkent - St. Petersburg route, Uzbekistan Airways will fly seven times a week, and My Freighter (Centrum Air) - four.
