Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The Anti-Corruption Agency of Uzbekistan and the Department for Administrative Control and Transparency have concluded an action plan for the period 2024-2026.

This document was signed during the visit of a delegation of Uzbekistan to Qatar, which included representatives of law enforcement agencies, including the Anti-Corruption Agency.

According to the visit program, the director of the Anti-Corruption Agency of Uzbekistan Akmal Burkhanov met with the head of the Office of Administrative Control and Transparency of Qatar, Hamad bin Nasser Al Misned.

During the meeting, an Action Plan for 2024-2026 was signed within the framework of the previously concluded Memorandum of Cooperation.

The plan includes assessing corruption risks between the parties, ensuring transparency in the activities of government bodies, as well as regular exchange of experience in implementing UN anti-corruption standards at the national level.

As part of the action plan, the parties intend to propose improvements in legislation regulating the fight against corruption, organize the exchange of experience in assessing corruption risks in the public service and ensuring transparency of activities.

Cooperation in the field of honesty and transparency in the field of sports is also planned. The agency will study Qatar's experience in improving the E-Antikor platform.

The parties agreed to speed up work on the discussed areas of cooperation.
