Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — On 31 July, Uzbekistan’s Minister of Investments, Industry and Trade, Laziz Kudratov, held talks with Ahmad Abdullah Al-Jufairi, Executive Chairman of the Qatari company Protocol Capital Group.

Protocol Capital Group is one of Qatar’s largest investment companies, managing assets worth over USD 4 billion and with experience in implementing more than 1,000 projects across 34 countries. The company’s portfolio spans real estate, the oil and gas sector, production of construction materials and steel, pharmaceuticals, as well as water storage systems and air cooling solutions.

During the meeting, the Uzbek side presented the key advantages of the country’s investment climate and introduced new project initiatives.

Ahmad Al-Jufairi highlighted the strong potential for cooperation and expressed interest in investing in energy, housing construction, transport, logistics, and the IT sector.

Both sides confirmed their intention to work on concrete proposals aimed at ensuring sustainable growth and advancing infrastructure development and digitalization.
