Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — From 20 to 26 September 2024, Uzbekistan is hosting the "Uzbek-Polish Cooperation Week."
As part of this event, on 21 September, Deputy Chairman of the Uzbekistan Chamber of Commerce and Industry Dilshod Rasulov met with a delegation led by Bożena Żelazowska, Secretary of State at Poland’s Ministry of Culture and National Heritage.
The meeting was also attended by Amirsaid Agzamkhodjaev, the Ambassador of Uzbekistan to Poland.
The parties discussed the current state of Uzbek-Polish relations and opportunities for further development in areas such as politics, economics, culture, and humanitarian cooperation.
Particular attention was given to expanding the role of women in government and supporting women’s entrepreneurship in Uzbekistan.
At the conclusion of the meeting, both sides expressed their readiness to deepen cooperation and agreed to hold joint events in the future.
