Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — On 21 October 2024, a meeting took place between the Chairman of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Uzbekistan, Davron Vakhabov, and representatives of the company "OZON."
The meeting also involved representatives from the "Uztextileprom" and "UzEltechprom" Associations, as well as business representatives from the textile and electrical industries.
During the meeting, the company "CHAMBER-TRADE LINK," established under the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Uzbekistan in October 2024, was introduced. The company’s main goal is to promote the development of e-commerce in the country and foster cooperation with marketplaces both nationally and internationally.
The parties discussed creating a training program for Uzbek entrepreneurs to help them navigate and succeed on marketplaces. The seminars will cover topics such as optimizing logistics, strategically promoting products, and building effective partnerships with international entities.
Additionally, the Chamber of Commerce expressed its readiness to provide comprehensive support to entrepreneurs in pre-export financing. This includes subsidizing part of transportation costs, which will significantly reduce logistics expenses for exports. Support will also be offered for warehousing abroad, facilitating better supply management and expanding Uzbekistan’s presence in international markets.
