Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) —On 18 June 2025, Deputy Minister of Mining Industry and Geology of Uzbekistan, Ulugbek Yusupov, held talks with Badarch Enkhbat, Vice President of the Mongolian company Steppe Copper, and Ochir Ochirjav, Adviser to the company’s head.

The meeting focused on prospects for bilateral cooperation and the implementation of joint initiatives involving enterprises under the Ministry of Geology of Uzbekistan.

Particular attention was given to opportunities for collaboration in the metallurgical industry and renewable energy sector.

The parties also exchanged views on the current and future activities of the Uzbek Overseas Geology Company representative office operating in Mongolia.
