Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Minister of Mining and Geology Bobir Islamov, Chairman of the Board of Almalyk Mining and Metallurgical Complex (AMMC) A. Khursanov, and other officials met with Aleutina Chernikova, Rector of the National University of Science and Technology MISIS.

During the meeting, they exchanged views on the main directions of the GeoMetTex engineering school, which is being established in collaboration between MISIS and AMMC under an agreement signed at the "INNOPROM Central Asia" industrial exhibition.

The discussions also covered strengthening cooperation in the training of specialists for the mining industry.

It was specifically emphasized that implementing engineering projects in partnership with universities (UGN, NGGTU) and MISIS will contribute to the development of the industry.
