Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Construction of the Uchkurgan border post has begun in Uchkurgan district of Namangan region, which will connect Uzbekistan with Kyrgyzstan.
The post will be located on the 10th kilometer of the road Uchkurgan - Madaniyat mahalla "Buston" of Uchkurgan district.
Similar work is also being carried out at the “Kengsay” customs post, which is located in the village of Kiziltuu, Navkent district, Jalalabad region of Kyrgyzstan.
The opening of these border customs posts will contribute to convenience for residents of Uchkurgan district, and will also contribute to the development of the economy, logistics and service sector of Namangan region.
It is planned that the border customs posts “Uchkurgan” and “Kengsay” will be put into operation this year.
