Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Representatives of the Consulate General of Uzbekistan met in Osh with the head of the local company “Munduz Tourist” Umarjon Yosiddinov, Dunyo news agency reported.

Munduz Tourist LLC has bilateral agreements with approximately five hundred travel companies and media in more than 100 countries. Works closely with the CIS countries, Asia, Europe and the Middle East. The main activity of the company is aimed at developing ethno-tourism in the country.

Munduz Tourist LLC takes an active part in tourism fairs held every year in Uzbekistan and international tourism exhibitions held in other parts of the world. In 2023, he sent up to five thousand tourists from Kyrgyzstan to Uzbekistan.

The company’s activities in the field of tourism were highly appreciated not only by the government of Kyrgyzstan, but also by the administrations of neighboring countries, especially the valley regions of Uzbekistan, as well as Samarkand, Bukhara, Tashkent regions and districts.

At the meeting, the possibilities of increasing the flow of tourists visiting Uzbekistan were discussed by establishing active cooperation with travel companies in Kyrgyzstan and organizing a tourism and trade fair.

As a result of the meeting, agreements were reached to continue the dialogue on establishing cooperation between tourism companies in border regions, increasing mutual tourist flow and promoting the tourism potential of the two countries.
