Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) —  A meeting was held at the "Uzcharmsanoat" Association with Muso Djamanbaev, the Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of the Kyrgyz Republic to Uzbekistan.

During the discussion, the participants focused on expanding bilateral cooperation and implementing joint investment projects.

Initially, the attendees analyzed the current state of relations between the two countries in the leather industry. They reviewed the work done so far and outlined future tasks.

The Kyrgyz Ambassador suggested studying Uzbekistan’s experience in developing the leather industry and implementing joint investment projects involving major domestic enterprises in Kyrgyzstan.

The sides also discussed the initiative to establish cooperation in wool processing and the collection of leather raw materials. The ambassador noted that the processing of leather raw materials in Kyrgyzstan is currently insufficient, leading to the neglect of many resources.

As a result of the negotiations, the parties agreed to create a platform for business tours and negotiations in the leather industry, involving entrepreneurs from both countries.
