Uzbekistan and KOICA Launch Project for Digital Training of Civil Servants
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Uzbekistan has begun implementing a program aimed at improving the qualifications of civil servants in the field of digital transformation.
The project, carried out by the Ministry of Digital Technologies in partnership with the Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA), is planned for the period 2025–2027.
As part of the program, 45 employees from the ministry and its subordinate agencies will undergo phased training in South Korea, where two-week advanced training courses will be organized for them.
The program will cover key aspects of digital development — from the formation and implementation of e-government policies and optimization of public services using artificial intelligence technologies to the promotion of social innovations and studying the Korean experience in working with open data.
The project is expected to be a significant step in strengthening the capacity of the civil service and improving the quality of services provided to the population.
