Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Tactical special exercises Hanjar-2024, involving the armed forces of Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan, concluded at the "Forish" mountain range of the Central Military District. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Defense of Uzbekistan.
During the ten-day exercises, various types of firearms were used in shooting drills, combat tactics were practiced in areas inhabited by a simulated population, and methods of analyzing actions and relieving psycho-emotional stress were implemented.
The exercises began with an offensive operation, in which mortar crews, snipers, machine gunners, and drone operators targeted buildings occupied by a simulated enemy. Following this, an assault group, supported by armored vehicles and service dogs, successfully cleared three objects. The operation was completed in a short time, with objectives achieved in just a few minutes.
The final stage of the exercises was observed by representatives of the Ministry of Defense, the commander of the Central Military District, and the leadership of the Kazakh military delegation.
During the closing ceremony, the importance of strengthening friendly and partnership relations between the two brotherly nations was emphasized. At the end of the exercises, military personnel who demonstrated high activity were awarded special badges by the Ministries of Defense of Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan.
