Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- With the support of the Embassy of Uzbekistan, a video conference was organized for a meeting between representatives of the Agency for External Labor Migration of Uzbekistan and the director of the Japanese company Business Plaza Cooperative, Masahiro Ando.

At the meeting, issues of developing bilateral cooperation were discussed, in particular, attracting labor resources from Uzbekistan to Japan as part of a technical internship program for skilled workers.

The director of the Japanese company noted that currently citizens of a number of countries are already employed in various fields of construction and production in Japan as part of the technical internship program. It was also announced that under this program it is planned to temporarily employ Uzbek specialists in Japan.

As a result of the meeting, an agreement was reached to organize a trip of representatives of the Business Plaza Cooperative company to Uzbekistan in order to familiarize themselves with opportunities in the field of labor migration and discuss prospects for mutual cooperation.
