Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- With the support of the Embassy of Uzbekistan in Israel, representatives of the Tashkent State Agrarian University (TSAU) met with the leadership of the Robert Smith Faculty of Agriculture, Food and Environment of the Hebrew University in Jerusalem, Dunyo news agency reported.

During the meeting, TSAU Vice-Rector for International Cooperation Alisher Khasanov spoke about the main areas of the university’s work, in particular about the university’s projects with foreign partners.

Israeli experts spoke about various opportunities for studying at the university, in particular about master’s programs and specialized trainings.

The meeting also covered topics on joint scientific projects, in particular in the areas of water saving technologies, the introduction of innovative agricultural technologies and breeding methods in the cultivation of crops.

At the same time, the conditions for the implementation of joint projects with the Center for Scientific Research of the International School of Agricultural Sciences of the Hebrew University in Jerusalem and TSAU, as well as with the involvement of research institutes in the field of agriculture of Uzbekistan, were discussed.
