Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Tel Aviv hosted an online meeting between students of leading universities of Uzbekistan and Israel, Dunyo news agency reported.

The event was attended by students of one of the reputable universities in Israel and the international academic community - Technion, Tashkent State Technical University named after Islam Karimov and Tashkent University of Information Technologies named after Muhammad al-Khwarizmi, as well as representatives of presidential specialized schools.

During the meeting, presentations of universities were held, including opportunities for studying in academic programs. There was a wide exchange of views on the educational process and student life at universities. Agreements were reached to support the dialogue between student communities, as well as the development of student tourism.

In an online meeting with the participation of the leadership of the Leumi Technion Robotics Center, the work on organizing specialized international competitions for schoolchildren and students was presented.

In turn, the Tashkent State Technical University acquainted with the work of the university in the field of robotics.

The Specialized School of Information Technologies named after Al-Khwarizmi presented a presentation of the educational and creative processes of the institution.

Following the meeting, the parties agreed to establish direct cooperation on participation in competitive events, the development of joint bilateral projects with the participation of schoolchildren and students.
