Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — A meeting was held today between Behzod Musaev, Head of the Migration Agency under the Cabinet of Ministers of Uzbekistan, and Gideon Lustig, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Israel to Uzbekistan.

During the meeting, information was shared about the activities of the newly established Migration Agency and an analysis of migration patterns was presented.

The Israeli Ambassador highlighted the high demand for labor in the country, particularly in industries such as healthcare, services, and construction, which are leading sectors.

Special attention was given to cooperation in the training of specialists in healthcare and construction, taking into account advanced Israeli technologies.

Behzod Musaev, Head of the Agency, emphasized that the primary goal is to organize safe migration for Uzbek citizens seeking employment abroad. It is crucial to ensure migration characterized by low costs, high earnings, social protection, and the absence of corruption.

Both sides agreed to strengthen the legal framework for cooperation in migration and specialist training, which will allow for more effective future collaboration.
