Uzbekistan and Israel continue cooperation in theatre art
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Youth Theatre of Uzbekistan is hosting creative meetings with participant of International Theatre Festival “THEATRE.UZ/2012” and prominent Israeli writer Iddo Netanyahu on 21-25 Aril 2013.

Iddo Netanyahu meets directors and actors of theatre for rehearsal of his play “A Happy End”. The play was demonstrated for the first time with Days of Israeli theatre, which was held within THEATRE.UZ/2012.

It is lanned to demonstrate “A Happy End” at the fourth international theatre festival THEATRE.UZ this year. THEATRE.UZ festival is organized annually within the Art Week Style.uz.

Iddo Netanyahu said that the play is dedicated to German-Jew pair, living in Germany. In 1932-1933, Gitler could come to power and the pair should decide to stay in Germany or to leave the country. The play dedicated to how people anticipate environment around them and how the world impacts their decisions.

He said that he is happy to cooperate with Youth Theatre of Uzbekistan and it honour to work with director Nabo Abdurakhmanov, who is one of the best theatre directors in Uzbekistan. He said he has no doubt that the play will be successfully.

Iddo Netanyahu (born 24 July 1952) is an Israeli physician, author and playwright.
