Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Negotiations were held at the House of Innovation and Technology of the Islamic Republic of Iran (IHIT) in Tehran between Shohrukh Daliev, First Deputy Minister of Higher Education, Science, and Innovation of Uzbekistan, and Hussein Ruzbah, Deputy Vice President of Iran for Science, Technology, and Knowledge-Based Economy.

During the meeting, the parties agreed to cooperate in several areas, including the establishment of a joint nanotechnology laboratory, the organization of regular scientific project competitions in the fields of science and technology, and the creation of a joint working group on the development of science, technology, and the implementation of innovations.

An initiative was also proposed to hold a forum for the rectors of universities specializing in engineering and technical fields.

It was noted that on 18 June 2023, the official opening of the "House of Iranian Innovation and Technology" took place in Tashkent, which is currently actively used for the transfer of new technologies.
