Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — From 23 to 27 February, a delegation from Uzbekistan, led by Sh. Sharifov, Director of the Administrative and Economic Service under the Ministry of Agriculture, visited Iran.

During the trip, a series of agreements were signed aimed at deepening bilateral cooperation. In particular, a memorandum on agricultural mechanization and expanding technological partnership was signed with the Iranian Agricultural Machinery Manufacturers Association (ATMAK).

Additionally, an agreement was reached with the company "Sirang UAV" for the supply of modern agricultural drones to Uzbekistan, as well as the creation of the necessary infrastructure for their maintenance.

Another agreement was signed between the Administrative and Economic Service, "Bazargan Kala Co." and the National Center (AKIS). The document provides for the testing and phased localization of 40 types of fertilizers and pesticides under the Nutritech brand in Uzbekistan.

This visit marked an important step towards expanding agricultural cooperation between Uzbekistan and Iran, the implementation of advanced technologies, and the development of new business ties in the agricultural sector.
