Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — On 19 September 2024, Minister of Transport of Uzbekistan Ilkhom Makhkamov held a meeting with an Iranian delegation led by the Chairman of the Chamber of Commerce, Mining, and Agriculture of Iran, Samad Ghasanzadeh.

During the meeting, which was attended by the ambassadors of both countries, discussions focused on the current state and future prospects of cooperation in the field of transport and logistics.

Special attention was given to creating favorable conditions for national carriers in international road freight transportation. The parties also considered issues related to establishing mutual charges and fees for transport services on a parity basis, as well as the development of international transport corridors.
