Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — A meeting took place at the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Uzbekistan with a delegation from the Iranian Chamber of Commerce, Industries, Mines, and Agriculture, led by its president, Samad Hasan Zadeh.
The Iranian delegation included around 15 representatives from Iranian companies operating in sectors such as textiles, construction, agriculture, pharmaceuticals, and healthcare.
The parties discussed prospects for further economic cooperation, expanding trade relations, increasing trade turnover, as well as addressing existing issues in the export and import sectors.
As a result of the meeting, agreements were reached to develop bilateral cooperation, marking an important step in strengthening economic ties between the two countries.
It is worth noting that the delegation, led by Samad Hasan Zadeh and comprising over 60 representatives of Iranian businesses, is currently visiting Uzbekistan. Joint business forums are scheduled for 19 September in Tashkent and 20 September in Khiva.
