Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- About 12 documents were signed within the framework of the conference “Day of IDB Group” with the participation of the President of the Islamic Development Bank Bandar Hajjar and Sukhrob Holmuradov, Deputy Prime Minister, Chairman of the State Committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan for Investments.

The Government of Uzbekistan and the Islamic Development Bank have signed a Partnership Strategy for 2018-2021, within the framework of which the bank plans to allocate funds for US$1.3 billion.

A grant agreement was signed between the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Islamic Development Bank for the International Research Center Imam al - Bukhari. The amount of the agreement is US$275,000.

Eight memorandums of understanding have been concluded between the International Islamic Trade Finance Corporation, the Islamic Corporation for the Development of the Private Sector and the banks of Uzbekistan, including the National Bank for Foreign Economic Activity, Uzpromstroybank, Asaka Bank, Asia Asia Bank, Kapitalbank, Turonbank, Uzpromstroybank and Hamkorbank.

Memoranda of understanding were signed with the Islamic Development Bank between the Al-Khorezmi University of Information Technologies and the National University of Uzbekistan.
