Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) —  O’ztemiryo’lkonteyner JSC and the German company Rhenus Group are establishing a joint venture, UzContargo Andijon.

On 29 November 2024, a meeting of the founders of O’ztemiryo’lkonteyner JSC and Rhenus Group took place to discuss the creation of the joint venture.

In accordance with Presidential resolution No. 329 from 10 October 2023, a modern logistics center is being established in Andijan region, which will meet international standards.

The center will be responsible for organizing container block trains, performing loading and unloading operations with wagons and containers, providing storage services, and offering multimodal "door-to-door" services.

The founding documents and the protocol for the establishment of the joint venture UzContargo Andijon were signed by A.S. Kamalov, Chairman of the Board of O’ztemiryo’lkonteyner JSC, and G. Kerstgens, authorized representative of Rhenus Group.
