Uzbekistan and Germany Discuss Prospects for Trade and Economic Cooperation
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — A meeting took place at the Ministry of Investments, Industry, and Trade of Uzbekistan between Deputy Minister Akram Aliyev and Manfred Huterer, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Germany.
The discussion focused on the current state and future prospects of trade, economic, and investment cooperation. Both sides noted that Germany remains one of Uzbekistan’s key strategic partners. It was emphasized that joint projects in industry, energy, agriculture, construction, and other sectors make a significant contribution to the sustainable development of both economies.
Special attention was given to preparing upcoming bilateral events and promoting new initiatives aimed at expanding business contacts and implementing joint projects.
The parties reaffirmed their readiness to further deepen the partnership and agreed on practical steps to implement previously reached agreements.
