Uzbekistan and Georgia sign a plan for the development of cooperation until 2025

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Uzbekistan and Georgia signed a plan for the development of cooperation until 2025.

The sides also signed an agreement on the establishment of a business council of the two countries by the chambers of commerce and industry.

The Prime Ministers of Uzbekistan Abdulla Aripov and Georgia Irakli Garibashvili at a meeting in Tbilisi signed a plan for the development of bilateral cooperation for the period from 2023 to 2024 inclusive. This was reported by the press service of the Georgian government.

“After a meeting in an expanded format, the prime ministers of Georgia and Uzbekistan signed an action plan on joint practical measures to develop bilateral cooperation between Georgia and the Republic of Uzbekistan for 2023 and 2024,” the report says. The delegations also signed an agreement on the establishment of a business council of the two countries by the chambers of commerce and industry.

Before the meeting in an expanded format, the prime ministers discussed the transit potential of the Trans-Caspian International Transport Route. Garibashvili, on behalf of the Georgian government, congratulated Shavkat Mirziyoyev on his re-election as President of Uzbekistan.
