Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — A meeting between Umid Shadieva, the head of Uzbekistan’s Tourism Committee, and Hervé Tilmont, the Director General of the French Federation of Travel Agencies, at the IFTM Top Resa international tourism exhibition in Paris marked a significant step in enhancing tourism ties between the two countries.

During the meeting, they discussed ways to stimulate travel from France and other European countries to Uzbekistan.

As a result of the negotiations, an agreement was reached on collaborative measures to attract more tourists to Uzbekistan. This includes the development of new themed tourist routes, the implementation of PR campaigns, and conducting roadshows and presentations to better promote Uzbekistan’s tourism potential.
