Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — The Chairman of the "Uzcharmsanoat" Association, A. Sultonov, and the Ambassador of Egypt to Uzbekistan, Tamer Hammad, discussed opportunities for cooperation in modernizing the leather industry.
The plans include the implementation of joint investment projects, the expansion of trade and economic relations, and the coordination of export-import operations.
The Egyptian Ambassador emphasized that the development of cooperation in the leather industry would enhance the competitiveness of Uzbekistan’s leather industry on the global market. Egypt’s experience and technologies in the leather sector, combined with the favorable conditions in Uzbekistan, will help achieve successful investment projects.
Additionally, negotiations with international Egyptian brands could lead to improvements in new technologies, production quality, and an increase in output.
