Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Uzbek specialists from the Agency for the Development of the Pharmaceutical Industry and Magnit Grand Farma visited Egypt to establish cooperation with the leading biopharmaceutical company Minapharm.

The visit, organized with the support of the Embassy of Uzbekistan in Egypt, provided an opportunity to familiarize themselves with production processes and assess the potential of the Egyptian partner, Dunyo news agency reports.

As a result of the negotiations, an agreement was reached on implementing a joint project in Uzbekistan. In mid-February, Egyptian specialists are expected to arrive in the country to study the market, develop project plans, and recruit and train personnel. Production is set to be established in the Parkent Free Economic Zone in the Tashkent region.

Minapharm’s future plans include introducing advanced technologies, opening a distribution center, registering pharmaceutical products, localizing production, and subsequently exporting products to international markets. This collaboration will significantly strengthen Uzbekistan’s pharmaceutical sector and improve access to modern medicines.
