Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Chairman of the Uzcharmsanoat Association, A. Sultanov, held a meeting with a delegation from the Republic of Dagestan. The discussions focused on expanding bilateral cooperation in the leather sector.
Dagestan’s monthly demand for leather stands at 1 million square decimeters, highlighting significant export potential for Uzbek leather products used in the footwear, automotive, and furniture industries.
During the meeting, both sides outlined specific steps to develop collaboration, including the supply of Uzbek leather for specialty footwear, the establishment of trade houses and warehouses in Dagestan, and organizing business tours to strengthen trade ties and explore new areas of cooperation.
This meeting marks an important milestone in the development of Uzbekistan's leather industry and opens opportunities for a substantial increase in trade turnover between Uzbekistan and Dagestan.
