Uzbekistan and CLAAS Discuss Launch of Agricultural Machinery Production
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — On 14 August, Deputy Minister of Investment, Industry and Trade of the Republic of Uzbekistan Akram Aliev held talks with CLAAS Vice President for Eastern Europe Michael Bayer. Representatives of UzCLAAS Agro also took part in the meeting.
The parties discussed preparations for the launch of agricultural machinery production, issues of technical coordination, development of production infrastructure, and localization measures. Special attention was given to prospects for cooperation in agricultural engineering as well as to the planned production volumes for 2026.
The agreements reached are aimed at strengthening Uzbekistan’s industrial potential, expanding technological capabilities, and developing a strategic partnership with one of the world’s leading manufacturers of agricultural machinery.
