Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- During a visit to Beijing by a working group led by the head of the Tourism Committee Umid Shadiev, a meeting was held with China’s Deputy Minister of Culture and Tourism, Wang Houdong.

During these meetings, issues of achieving predetermined goals by 2024 were discussed, as well as the joint implementation of initiatives put forward by the President of Uzbekistan at the UNWTO General Assembly in Samarkand.

It was also decided to develop a program for the development of the "Silk Road" tourism corridor.
