Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Minsk hosted a regular meeting of the Belarusian-Uzbek Joint Commission on International Road Transport. This was reported by the Ministry of Transport and Communications of the Republic of Belarus.
The parties agreed to work on the abolition of the permit system for international road transport of goods.
Belarus and Uzbekistan also discussed the prospects for expanding cooperation in the transport sector, determined the number of permits for international transportation for 2022-2023.
An agreement was reached on the allocation of additional Uzbek permits for Belarusian carriers in the amount of 6,000 “bilateral and transit” and 4,000 “to/from third countries”.
