Uzbekistan and Belarus discuss development of cooperation in key areas
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) —
The delegations were led by Deputy Foreign Ministers Bobur Usmanov and Pavel Utyupin.
Both sides held in-depth discussions on the current state and prospects of bilateral cooperation in political, trade-economic, and cultural-humanitarian spheres, as well as on the implementation of agreements reached during high-level visits.
They noted the dynamic development of interstate relations, the growth of mutual trade, and the successful implementation of joint projects in key industrial sectors.
The parties reaffirmed their commitment to strengthening interparliamentary ties, expanding the legal framework for cooperation, and enhancing interaction within multilateral formats. Special attention was given to the potential for partnership in trade, industrial cooperation, agriculture, tourism, education, and healthcare.
During the consultations, they agreed on a schedule of joint events for 2025, including the next session of the Intergovernmental Commission, as well as regional, business, educational, and medical forums, alongside a series of cultural programs.
An agreement was reached to continue close cooperation between the foreign ministries to further deepen bilateral relations.
