Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Uzbekistan and Bashkortostan are planning to establish joint technoparks in both republics and are exploring the possibility of building a logistics center for Uzbek goods in Bashkortostan. Rustam Muratov, First Deputy Prime Minister of Bashkortostan and Minister of Economic Development and Investment Policy of the Republic of Bashkortostan, stated that discussions are underway regarding the construction of a logistics center for Uzbek goods in the region, as well as the creation of two joint technoparks in Bashkortostan and Uzbekistan.

One of the technoparks is planned to be located in Tashkent region. Muratov noted that each region will host one technopark, which will be managed by a unified company.

Additionally, during an official visit by a Bashkortostan delegation to Uzbekistan, a roadmap was signed to expand cooperation between Bashkortostan and the Republic of Karakalpakstan (Uzbekistan).

The document covers nine areas and 24 activities in the fields of trade, industry, agriculture, social and youth policy, and other important areas of cooperation.
